Teaching In New Zealand

If you are a primary or secondary school teacher looking for a teaching job in New Zealand, then Oasis may be able to assist. Teaching as a profession has been removed from the priority skills category (as listed by the New Zealand Immigration service) meaning it will be more difficult for New Zealand schools to employ overseas trained teachers who do not have permanent residence or work visas; however, if you are eligible to work, or if you are a teacher of a shortage subject such as physics or maths, then our schools may be able to offer employment. The New Zealand education system prefers teachers trained in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the USA so please forward us your CV (resume) if you are interested in moving to New Zealand from one of these countries.
